Sasha Wilson

I am an ARC DECRA Fellow and Senior Lecturer. I currently lead the Environmental Geochemistry Experimental Laboratory at Monash University.

The lab and I are relocating to the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada for January 2018.

I am a low-temperature geochemist specialised in environmental mineralogy. I’m currently working on a variety of research projects involving CO2 sequestration in minerals, safe extraction of heavy metals and radionuclides during mineral processing and mine site reclaimation, and extracting palaeoenvironmental information from fossils and meteorites.

I invite applications from academically excellent, highly motivated and creative students with an interest in pursuing MSc and PhD research in these topics.
